About the NSF Standard

Founded in 1944, the mission of the NSF International is to protect and improve global human health. Manufacturers, regulators and consumers look to us to facilitate the development of public health standards and certifications that help protect food, water, consumer products and the environment. As an independent, accredited organization, we test, audit and certify products and systems as well as provide education and risk management. About the ISO 9001:2015 Standard

ISO 9001 sets out the criteria for a quality management system and is the only standard in the family that can be certified to (although this is not a requirement). It can be used by any organization, large or small, regardless of its field of activity. In fact, there are over one million companies and organizations in over 170 countries certified to ISO 9001. This standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement.

About the ASME Standard

ASME’s Conformity Assessment program is the leading, universally recognized, independent Quality Assurance (QA) program that certifies that manufacturing, power generation, stamped products and parts fulfill the requirements of relevant ASME codes and standards. It certifies that stamped items conform to ASME standards, including the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC), the Bioprocessing Equipment (BPE) Standard, and/or Reinforced Thermoset Plastic Corrosion Resistant Equipment (RTP-1) Standard.

About Standard of Canada Accreditation

The Standards Council of Canada (SCC) is Canada’s national accreditation body. SCC accredits conformity assessment bodies, such as testing laboratories and product certification bodies, to internationally recognized standards. Conformity assessment is the practice of determining whether a product, service or system meets the requirements of a particular standard with the goal of one standard, one test — accepted everywhere.

About the ANSI Standard

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is a non-profit organization that coordinates the U.S. private sector voluntary standardization system. The institute is comprised of U.S. businesses, professional societies and trade associations, standards developers, government agencies, institutes and consumer and labor interests. ANSI facilitates the creation, promulgation, and use of standards and norms for many industries including but not limited to acoustics, agriculture and energy.
